Avifun nasce nel 2012 dall’esperienza maturata nel settore ornitologico del titolare di Tropical World, nota azienda italiana leader nella vendita online di prodotti per l’allevamento e mantenimento in cattività di qualsiasi volatile.
Avifun ha voluto conservare la tradizione di prodotti semplici, genuini, con particolare attenzione alla scelta delle materie prime, spesso causa di patologie batteriche.
Nascono così i primi pastoncini amatoriali della linea “BOCCONCINO” ancora oggi amati da molti allevatori.
Nel 2014 prende vita la linea “COMPETION” per affiancare l’ornitologia professionale e soddisfare i palati più esigenti.
Dopo un anno di studi, prove, esperimenti, analisi, ecco che compare sul mercato il “COMPETION KOMPLET” unico e inimitabile nel suo genere, in quanto non esiste niente di simile ad oggi sul mercato.
KOMPLET è composto principalmente da mangime estruso, che unito ad altri ingredienti ne risulta un composto completo con la caratteristica di essere più appetibile rispetto ai normali estrusi e di conseguenza più apprezzato dai pappagalli che faticano a cambiare tipo di alimentazione.
Dagli studi effettuati si è riscontrato che su un campione di 10 esemplari che non hanno mai mangiato estruso, KOMPLET viene immediatamente accettato da 4 esemplari e da altri 3 a distanza di qualche giorno. La stessa prova con un normale estruso ha restituito un risultato di 2 su 10.
Avifun è in una continua ed inesorabile crescita al fine di ampliare la gamma e offrire sempre più prodotti innovativi e qualitativamente superiori agli standard.
Avifun was launched in 2012 from the experience gained over the years by the C.E.O. of Tropical World, a well known Italian company leader in on-line sales of birds food and accessories.
Avifun’ s target is to preserve the tradition of simple, genuine products, paying particular attention to the choice of raw material, often the cause of bacterial diseases.
So, the first amateurs feed was produced, called “BOCCONCINO”, still appreciated and loved by many breeders.In 2014 we launched a new line of products: “COMPETITION”, for professional ornithology and for the finer tastes.
After a year of research, tests, and analysis, we managed to market “COMPETITION KOMPLET”, unique in its kind, as there is nothing similar in today’s market.
KOMPLET is mainly made of extruded food, which, with other ingredients, makes a complete compound feed, more appealing and desirable than normal extruded food, and also appreciated by parrots which showed difficulty changing their food type and diet.
Research shows that out of 10 birds which were never fed extruded food, KOMPLET is immediately accepted by 4 of them, and subsequently by 3 more, just a few days later.In the same test with other normal extruded food, only 2 of them accepted the change.
